The wear layer is the clear protective coating that defends your floors against scratches, scuffs, and daily wear. For active households, homes with pets, or light commercial spaces, a 22mil wear layer is highly recommended. It provides exceptional, commercial-grade protection to keep your floors looking brand new for years to come.

Both are 100% waterproof luxury vinyl planks, but their core constructions differ. 

• WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) contains foaming agents that make it thicker, softer, and quieter underfoot—making it the ultimate choice for comfort in living areas and bedrooms. 
• SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) utilizes a limestone core, making the plank thinner, denser, and slightly more resistant to heavy impacts, but it feels much firmer underfoot.

WPC flooring is incredibly low-maintenance. For everyday cleaning, simply sweep or vacuum (using a setting without a beater bar) to remove loose dirt and dust. For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a pH-neutral, vinyl-safe floor cleaner. Avoid using steam mops, abrasive scrubbers, or harsh chemicals, as excessive heat and abrasives can damage the protective wear layer over time.
